The Dark Matter Desk is a 4-drawer unit, introduced to the collection as a response to, and evolution of, many commissioned desk designs over the years. Made from solid timber, the desk features Aardvark Interiors’ signature segmented joinery reinforced with hardwood splines. The solid-wood drawers are complete with soft-closing slides, including two that are sized to accommodate hanging files.

The desk’s faces are constructed from meticulously selected timber slabs, re-sawn into thin strips and artfully arranged into a cascading heartwood and sapwood grain composition. Each drawer has custom, subtly shaped bronze pulls. 

Shown in natural walnut with a hand-rubbed oil finish. May be ordered with customizations.
